Scallop Envelope Box

Sorry about the blurry photo! My camera desperately wanted to focus on the beautiful flower!


I got the idea for this cute little box and matching cards from my fellow demo Rachael Knight's blog . I've used the scallop envelope die cut and a strip of cardstock to make up the box. The box fits 3x3 cards and envelopes quite nicely. Below are the matching cards I made.

The Stampset I've used is Vintage Vogue, and the Very Vintage wheel. I've used Soft Suede Ink on Sage Shadow cardstock (retiring at the end of the month) and Very Vanilla Cardstock. It gives a lovely Vintage look. The flower on the front has been made using the Scallop Circle Punch, and "distressing" the flowers.

Large Box Bag

I made this lovely bag for my daughter to put a present in for her friend. I got the idea from Karen Rogers blog. If any of you have made the smaller box bag, this is about twice the size! Great for popping gifts in. Moira's friend was thrilled with the bag and handmade card.

I've used the beautiful paper from Bella Bleu, which is retiring at the end of this month. Cardstock colour is Night of Navy. I've used Kraft taffeta ribbon and Baja Breeze ribbon for the handles.

Helping Hudson

A bunch of New Zealand and Australian SU Demo's have got together to fundraise for a little boy called Hudson who has multiple disabilities and needs a wheelchair. You can buy bundles of tutorials to give you some inspiration for using your Stampin' Up! supplies. There are also free tutorials on the website too. I've just bought all 6 bundles, so can't wait to have a look and be inspired!

Even More Mini Albums!

You might have guessed I like making 3-D items! This is another Concertina Album I have made.
I will be running a class Saturday 14th August 1-3pm to show you how to make this album. If you would like to come along, drop me a line ronandrosie@xtra.co.nz . There is a cost of $20 for this class.
I used the retiring Cottage Wall DSP on this album, it's a lovely paper especially when used with Cottage Garden Stamp Set and Razzleberry colours. I've made the flower using Scribble This stamp set and finished it off with a Rhinestone Brad to add a bit of Bling! The saying is from Dreams du Jour.

Baby Bib Card

I'm sorry for whoever I got this idea from, I misplaced the blog link. But what a neat idea using the Scallop Circle Diecut out of the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue!
I ran the white card through the BigShot using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder and then made the neck-line using the wide-oval punch. Then I used some of my Flower Fusion flowers to hide the ends of the Baja Breeze ribbon. The Brads which secure the ribbon in place, have been made using the Build-a-Brad kit, and the little bird comes from the "Wild About You Set", which is retiring 31 August. You just lift the white part of the bib to write your message inside!
This card went with the baby boy album I showed you in my previous blog, I hope my nephew and his wife like it!

I was thinking after that, if I can make a bib with a big scallop circle, then I'm sure I can make one with the scallop circle punch. This is the result below, and it went with the Baby Girl Album I made earlier.

Baby Album

I've had a few friends and relations have baby's in the last little while, so I thought I would make some photo albums. This one I've used Pink Flamingo DSP, and made some concertina pages in the middle. I had lots of fun making these and I hope the recipients enjoy filling them with photos!

This one I have used Animal Stories stampset, this one was for my great-nephew.

Special Birthday Card

I saw this T-bar card on SCS here and thought it would make a nice birthday card for my sister.

I've used the lovely Vintage Vogue set in the autumn-winter Mini Caatalogue. It's definately my favourite set at the moment and I hope it goes into the new catalogue!
The card colours I've used are: Elegant Eggplant, Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Very Vanilla.
